Job: Retail Clerk for 2nd Chances Faith-Based Nonprofit Thrift Store

Join our team as a Retail Clerk at our faith-based nonprofit thrift store, where 100% of profits go directly to local charities serving families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
- Assist customers with inquiries, purchases, and donations, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including restocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays.
- Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with volunteers and other team members to accomplish store objectives and support the organization’s mission.
- Represent the Christian values and mission of 2nd Chances with integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor & Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to the Christian mission, purpose and values of 2nd Chances Thrift.
