We Happily Accept
- Clothes: men's, women's, children's, infants that are in like new or "giftable" condition
- Shoes and Accessories: handbags and purses, backpacks and bags, scarves, ties, etc.
- Jewelry and Watches: rings, pendants, necklaces, and earrings
- Working Small Appliances: kitchen toasters, blenders and mixers, power tools, irons, and lamps
- Kitchen Items: pots and pans, dishes, glasses and mugs, serving ware, glassware, silverware, and china sets
- Home Decor: candles (unused), framed art, pictures, mirrors, vases, baskets, and tableclothes
- Kids Items: Games and toys in like new original condition
- Entertainment and Media: vinyl records,dvds,cds, vhs
- Household appliances in working condition: washing machines, dryers, microwaves, refrigerators, stoves, freezers & portable air conditioners (NO "built-in" appliances)
- Furniture: chairs, tables, nightstands, dressers, end tables, coffee tables, bookcases. We will only accept sofas if they are in excellent condition.
- Books, puzzles w/ all pieces
- Golf Clubs, Tennis/Pickleball Rackets. fishing gear & accessories
- Electric scooters and mobility devices
- Electric Lift chairs/recliners
We Do Not Accept
- We reserve the right to decline to accept any item deemed unsuitable or not needed for the store.
- Damaged or dirty clothing.
- Large furniture too heavy for 2 people to move (sectionals, entertainment centers, etc).
- Items that show significant wear or have missing parts
- Household items that are not in working condition
- Car Parts: tires, mufflers, fenders, etc.
- Electronic Items that do not work
- Mattresses, bed frames, headboards/footboards or waterbeds
- Construction Supplies: lumber, pipes, flooring, cabinets, carpet, doors, windows, etc.
- Infant Products: car seats, cribs, walkers, pack & play, high chairs, changing tables etc.
- Liquid Items: paint chemicals, and cleaning products
- All Exercise Equipment (Machines, Weights, Fitness equipment, etc)
- Pianos, Organs & Pool Tables
- Box Televisions
- Baseball and football helmets
- "Built-in" appliances
- Damaged or dirty furniture with evidence of pet hair, odors, bugs or other pests
- Firearms or ammunition
- Durable medical equipment (walkers, canes, medical appliances)
- Metal desks and metal filing cabinets
- Laptops, computers, cell phones, tablets, printers or fax machines
- Office cubicles
- Large entertainment centers and Armoires made for TVs
How to Donate
where
Please take your donation to our Donation Center at UCO Industries (behind Roosters and Texas Roadhouse in Marysville) 16900 Square Drive, Marysville. You can also use the 24 hour donation bin at the back of the store at 112 S Main , but PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS outside the bin or at the back door of the store! This may create a safety hazard for others using the alley.
Need a Pickup?
For donors within 20 miles of the store, we offer a free pickup service for those larger gently used household items like furniture, appliances and large donations of clothing.

With advance coordination, 2nd Chances Thrift can provide signage for your event, receipts and even a pick-up of all your items when your ingathering is complete. In order to arrange all details, contact 2nd Chances Thrift one month in advance at manager@2ndchancesthriftstore.com
Note: We cannot guarantee a pick-up of your items if you don’t schedule it with us at least 30 days in advance.
